Crazy Frog AI: why the face changed and what to do
Updated:
In short
Faces drift when the model can't make them out. Give it a sharp, well-lit photo facing the lens, the face filling about a third of the frame, with no sunglasses or heavy filters, and check it in the free 5-second preview. Results also vary a little between runs.

Usual causes
- A small face: group and full-body shots give it too few pixels.
- Filters and beauty apps: the model sees someone who isn't quite you.
- Dark or turned-away photos: half a face means the model guesses the rest.
- Sunglasses, hats, masks: they hide what the model needs, and that scared look back only works with visible eyes.
Quick routine
- Choose a different photo that follows the photo guide.
- Run the preview and compare the face to your photo.
- Only then render the full video, which uses 1 credit.

Quick questions
Is a drifting face a failed render?
No. A failure is a render that never completes, and its credit is returned automatically. A finished video with a different-looking face is a normal outcome.
Do I need a better camera?
Light and angle matter more. A phone photo by a window, facing the lens, beats a dim one from a nicer camera.
Can I give it two photos of the same person?
No, only one. Pick the clearest.
Your turn on the bike
One photo does it. Nothing to subscribe to, and the finished clip has no watermark.
