Can a pet or a friend ride the broom instead of me?
Updated:
Short answer
Yes. You can ride yourself, or pick an adult friend who agreed, a dog, a cat or another animal. A pet rides with paws on the handle and fur in the wind. Pets are less predictable than people, so run the 5-second preview first.

Riding with paws
Pets stay their own species, sit upright and hold the handle with their paws. For the steadiest face, send a sharp front-facing photo with ears and eyes in view.
Pick the witch outfit and a pet wears a miniature witch hat in place of a dress.
Friends and relatives
An adult who's said yes can ride, as long as you tick the consent box first. Photos of children, or of anybody who hasn't agreed, don't belong here.
Questions people ask
Will the dog actually hold on?
Yes, the paws wrap around the handle in the video. The motion is generated, so no two results look the same.
What about a plush toy or my own sketch?
Fine, provided it's yours. It comes alive in the same colours and shape.
Is there room for two on the broom?
No. There's one rider and one photo slot. That keeps the broom ride simple and clear.
