Can my cats or dogs do the Smalltown Boy AI dance?
Updated:
Short answer
Yes. Upload one sharp portrait per pet, facing the camera: one as Lead, one as Partner. Each stays its own species and grooves upright on hind legs. Cat pairs are the standard AI version, though dogs and mixed pairs work too. Test with the 5-second preview first.

Pet photos that work
- Big, sharp face. Aim for a third of the frame or more.
- Eyes on the lens. An alert, upright pet beats a sleeping one.
- One animal per photo. Two cats sharing a frame confuse the model.
- Different-looking pets. Contrasting colours are easy to separate.
What your pets do
The Lead clamps its paws to its head and yells at the lens while the Partner grooves behind. Then the pair swap, and both dance shoulder to shoulder at the end. A cat yowls, a dog howls: the yells come from the pets. In the generator's selector, choose “Two pets”.
One pet, one person
A pet can team up with a person too, and either can take the Lead box. If a person appears, only use adults who agreed. For file limits, see the photo guide.
Questions people ask
Must it be exactly two pets?
Two portraits are required. Mixing is fine: two pets, a pet with a person, or two people.
Which pet photos work best?
Cats and dogs with faces turned toward the camera work best. Birds, fish and small animals far from the lens are harder for the model to read.
Do pets really dance?
The model invents the movement. Expect something cartoon-like rather than documentary, different with every photo.
