Lead and Partner changed places in my Smalltown Boy AI video. What do I do?
Updated:
Short answer
Box one is the Lead, who yells at the lens first. Box two is the Partner, who grooves behind. Roles follow the boxes. The scene itself swaps them halfway, by design. If even the opening looks reversed, press Swap photos in the generator and render again with the portraits switched.

Why it happens
- Photos dropped in the wrong boxes. By far the most likely reason.
- The swap belongs to the scene. After the hard cut the Partner owns the lens and the Lead dances at the back. That's by design.
- Look-alike subjects. Matching fur, hair and clothes make two subjects easier to mix up.
How to fix it
Read the labels over the boxes. Swap the photos if needed, then render again. Still blending? Use photos with different backgrounds and colours. The role names appear beside each box in the generator.
Questions people ask
Where is Swap photos?
Beneath the two photo boxes in the generator. It switches on once both photos are in.
Does swapping use credits?
No. It only rearranges the inputs. Nothing runs until you press the make button.
Can I switch roles once the video exists?
No, the finished video is locked. Start a new run with the photos swapped to change roles.
