CapCut template or Smalltown Boy AI: which makes your dance video?

Updated:

Short answer

A CapCut template re-times clips you already own, while Ozil Goal AI makes a brand-new 15-second dance from two photos. CapCut suits editing your own footage. Ozil Goal AI suits the case where two photos are all you have. Eligible new accounts get a free preview, and packs start at $9.90.

Head to head

  • Input: CapCut works on your own video clips. Ozil Goal AI starts from two photos, one per role.
  • Output: CapCut gives your footage back cut to the template. Ozil Goal AI returns a fresh 15-second clip at 720p, with motion generated by the model.
  • Effort: in CapCut you film, import and export. In Ozil Goal AI you upload twice and wait.
  • Price: CapCut's plans mix free and paid features and shift over time, so check them yourself. On Ozil Goal AI, a full video is 1 credit after the preview that eligible new accounts get.

How to choose

Do you and a friend plan to film the real dance, with control over every cut? Choose CapCut. Do you only have photos, or are your dancers pets, or do you want the trend with your own subjects? Choose Ozil Goal AI. Generating here and finishing in CapCut works too.

Questions people ask

Is this Smalltown Boy generator a CapCut or TikTok product?

No. Ozil Goal AI is independent. CapCut, TikTok and the people who posted the trend have nothing to do with it.

Can the two work together?

Yes. Download the MP4, import it into CapCut, trim it, add text, or put the trending sound on top.

Which one costs less?

It depends on where you start. A template is cheap if you can film the dance and already use the app. With only photos, Ozil Goal AI gives eligible new accounts a free preview to begin with.
