Which portraits suit a Smalltown Boy AI dance video?
Updated:
Short answer
Two pictures: a sharp one for the Lead, a sharp one for the Partner. Each has a single subject facing the camera. Types: JPG, PNG or WebP. Size: up to 10 MB. Each side: 300 to 6000 pixels. Blurry, masked and group shots are the weak spots.

Hard limits
- File types: JPG, PNG, WebP.
- File size: 10 MB per photo, at most.
- Dimensions: each side over 300 and under 6000 pixels.
- Aspect ratio: width over height between 0.4 and 2.5. Extreme panoramas and strips fail.
- You need both photos, one per role. Contrasting subjects pair up best.
What looks best
- Soft, even light. A sharp subject.
- Eyes and mouth visible, face turned to the camera.
- One subject per photo against a plain, tidy backdrop.
- For pets, a close shot at eye level, facing the camera.
- Toys and drawings: show the whole figure, clearly.
What to avoid
- Two subjects in one photo. The model might lock onto the wrong one.
- Sunglasses, masks, hands over the face and strong beauty filters.
- Screenshots that carry buttons or captions on top of the picture.
- Celebrities. Famous copyrighted characters.

Questions people ask
Which photo belongs in which of the two boxes?
Box one is the Lead, who yells at the lens first. Box two is the Partner, who grooves behind. The Swap photos button flips them.
Does a selfie work?
Yes, provided it's sharp, well lit and the whole face is inside the frame.
A photo was rejected. Now what?
A note under the upload box says what went wrong: size, format or shape. Fix that and upload again. Rejected photos cost nothing.
